Short Course Roundup

It was hot over the weekend, and we're not only talking about the weather, we're talking about the competition in the pool at the Australia Short Course Championships.

There was plenty of Funkita F-Teamers down in Adelaide competing in a variety of events. One of the standouts of the bunch was Para Athlete Taylor Corry who finished the meet with two Golds, a silver and two Bronze Medals.

There was plenty of F-Teamer battles going on over the course of the weekend with many of the swimmers vying for that top spot. With Koti Ngwati, Aisling Scott, Amy Matsuo and Ella Bond all battling it out in the 100m IM, Koti came home in second followd by Aisling in 5th, Amy in 6th and Ella in 10th.

Koti added to her silver medal with a bronze representing the MVC in the 4x100m Free relay.

Jordan White and Lucia Lassman both competed in the 200m Butterfly but a strong swim from Jordan meant she came home with a silver medal.

Ella Bond and Aisling both come home with a bronze medal, Ella finishing 3rd in the 4x100m Medley relay and Aisling finishing 3rd in the 200m IM beating out fellow F-Teamers Koti and Amy Leavings. Great work girls!
