
F-Team Set To Take On World!
Our Funkita stars have arrived in Tokyo and are getting ready for the biggest event of the year (apart from Tay Tay's world tour). It will be an epic 2 weeks with scintillating times being posts at qualifying meets around the world including by our own World Champ and World Record Holder Summer McIntosh. The Canadian star has confirmed she'll be competing in the 400m free, 400m IM, 200m butterfly and 200m free, dropping the 200m IM from her program. Here's a summary of what our Funkita team will be racing.

One of the most anticipated races in recent swimming history is on the opening night (July 23) in the 400m freestyle with Summer, Katie Ledecky and Ariarne Titmus all world record holders, with Summer being the current record holder.

I’m really excited to see what I can do and take in the atmosphere. This is my first senior team and so I just want to gain experience for future events and races.

The 2023 World Aquatics Championships run from 14-30 July with the Open Water component from 15 - 20 July at the Seaside Momochi Beach Park and the pool events from 23 - 30 July at the Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall A.
