F-Teamers Selected for World Jr Champs

Following outstanding performances at the Age and Open National Championships, 4 F-Teamers  have been selected to the Australian Junior Dolphins team. As part of a strong team of 30 athletes, they will compete at the 2023 World Junior Championships in Netanya, Israel from the 4th – 9th September 2023. In preparation for the Championships they will participate in a staging camp in Paphos, Cyprus at the end of August.

Iona Anderson - Western Australia - Breakers - @_iona.anderson
At this year's nationals, Iona chose to race at open level instead of racing in her age group in preparation for Australian Trials in June. She raced at Open Nationals unrested and with low iron levels and still managed to race well and secure her spot on the team.

Isabella Boyd - Victoria - Nunawading - @isa_boyd_
Isabella dominated at Age Nationals winning the 17 year old 50 Fly, 100 Fly and 200IM. She picked up silvers in the 50 and 100 Free in her age group and won bronze in the 200 Free.

Tiana Kritzinger - Queensland - Rackley - @tiana_kritzinger
18 year old long distance swimmer Tiana came second in the 1500 Freestyle to Olympian Madeleine Gough at this year's Australian Open Champs showing the swimming world that she has what it takes to compete against the world's best in Israel.

We are looking forward to watching these young guns compete at World Junior Champs in September. Be sure to follow their socials to keep up to date with their training in the lead up to the big event.
