Ana Shines at Nationals

We are thrilled to share the latest achievements of our Portuguese Olympian F-Teamer, Ana Rodrigues. Ana recently competed at the Portuguese National Championship and made us all incredibly proud of her performance.

Ana started off her competition by swimming her favourite event, the 50m freestyle, and she did not disappoint. She clocked 25.25 seconds, breaking the national record and taking home the gold medal. Ana was overjoyed with her performance and credited her hard work and dedication for her success.

Next up was the 50m breaststroke, where Ana had her sights set on making the team for the World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. She swam like a true champion, finishing with a time of 30.98 seconds, breaking the national record and clocking a time that qualified her for the World Championships. Ana was ecstatic with her performance and praised her team and trainers for their support and guidance.

Ana's focus and determination were evident throughout the competition. She had trained hard and was ready to take on the challenge. We have no doubt that Ana will continue to make waves in the swimming world and inspire young swimmers to chase their dreams.

Ana will be heading to Turkey soon for a training camp with the Portuguese team before taking on more local meets in Portugal. Ana will then be on her way to Japan for the World Championships in July.

Funkita is proud to have Ana on the F-Team and we are thrilled to see her continue to find success in the pool.
