Leah Crisp Races Around the World

British swimmer Leah Crisp, sponsored by Funkita swimwear, recently competed at BUCs and the Pro series swim meets in the UK and US respectively.

Leah's first event was the 1500m freestyle. She swam exceptionally well, achieving a time of 16:34.64 and placing third in the finals. Leah was thrilled with her performance as it was her first long course personal best since 2019.

In the 800m freestyle finals, Leah achieved her season's best time of 8:42.44, placing first at BUCs. In the same event at the Pro series swim meet, she achieved a time of 8:42.37, placing fourth. Leah was satisfied with both performances, as they were in line with her season's best.

Leah also competed in the 400m freestyle finals at the Pro series event in Floriday, achieving a time of 4:14.79 and placing eighth. She was excited to make the A final in a stacked field at a high level international meet.

Overall, Leah felt great about competing in back-to-back weeks at the BUCs and Pro series swim meets. She was happy to PB in the 1500m freestyle at BUCs and consistently achieve her season's best times at the Pro series swim meet. Leah headed back to the UK to compete in the Edinburgh International Swim Meet where she took 800m Freestyle bronze. There's no stopping Leah who then flew out to Israel for the first leg of the LEN European Open Water Cup. Back home in April Leah will be competing at the British Champs.
