Ready for World Uni Games
Kat Greenslade is prepped and ready to represent the University of Edinburgh at World Uni Games.
The best university athletes from around the world are coming together to compete at the 30th World University Games in Naples, Italy. This massive multi-sport event is held every two years and is known for its fantastic atmosphere and high calibre sporting performances. Held from the 3-14 of July it will be an unforgettable time for the 10 F-Teamers set to compete - especially given the athletes' village is set aboard two luxury cruise ships docked in the downtown Napoli port!

Kat Greenslade (UK) does an incredible job of balancing her medical degree from the University of Edinburgh and her swimming career. Kat has numerous awards to her name, including European Champion, Commonwealth Games bronze medallist and, more recently, Cameron Blue of the Year - an award for outstanding achievement in sport for her university. With credentials like that we can't wait to see how Kat does in her 4 events at World Uni Games!

Chloe Golding has her eyes on the prize in the 200 Back event.
Joining her is one of our newest F-Team recruits from the UK, Chloe Golding. The Manchester Metropolitan University swimmer made her international debut last year at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, where she swam a personal best 200m Backstroke time of 2:09. With the international race environment at World Uni Games to get her going, she's hoping to improve that time this week.
"I know that I'm capable of another drop in time. I'm just going to put into place all the things I've been working on in training and trust that I can swim fast."
This competition will round up Chloe's university experience, as she has just graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Sport Science and Physiology.

Nathania will be racing for South Africa at World Uni Games before heading to Gwangju.
South African F-Teamer Nathania van Niekerk has a busy July ahead of her. She will be racing at World Uni Games and then heading straight to Korea on July 12, just 4 days after her last event, to race for Team South Africa at the World Champs. During the 13 days that the Comm Games finalist will be in Italy, she'll be racing in the 50, 100 and 200m Backstroke events, all in her favourite racing suit, the Funkita APEX!
