Funkita Extends Diving Australia Partnership

Funkita and Funky Trunks are the official sponsors of Diving Australia.

Funkita is very excited to announce we have extended our partnership with Diving Australia, re-signing as a major partner for the next two years! The new contract is a renewal of a successful initial two year stint which has seen divers on national sides kitted out for all major competitions and training.

We are long-time supporters of diving in Australia having sponsored Olympic gold medallist Matt Mitcham during his career and now Olympic silver medallists Melissa Wu and Brittany Broben as well as up-and-coming stars Emily Meaney and Chris Bednar.

In Rio, the synchronised 3m springboard duo of Maddison Keeney and Anabelle Smith secured bronze for Australia. In the individual 3m springboard, Keeney came fifth and Esther Qin finished sixth. Three-time Olympian Melissa Wu came fifth in a competitive 10m women's platform event.

The Australia team showcased their green and gold Funky Trunks and Funkita swimwear before heading off to Rio where they fought hard against the best in the world.
