Australian Diving Team Wear Funkita at Worlds

If you have been watching the diving at the FINA World Diving Championships you would have seen the Australian team flying, turning and twisting through the air in beautiful team swimwearmade by us! We are so excited to be the official swimwear provider for the Australian Diving Team and think the team look amazing in our gear.

Melissa Wu wearing her Funkita uniform was named Australian captain

Leading the Aussie divers is our very own F-teamer Melissa Wu. It is the first time Diving Australia has announced a captain for the World Championships team and we can't think of a better candidate. Melissa has represented Australia since the age of just 13 when she competed in the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Over the past 10 years Melissa has proven herself to be outstanding not only as an athlete but as a leader and mentor to those around her.

Earlier this week Melissa and Partner Domonic Bedggood won a bronze medal in the 10 metre synchro event and Melissa finished 5th in the 10 metre platform with an incredible display of diving.

Other fantastic performances by the Australian team included James Connor in the 3 metre springboard and Esther Qin and Maddison Keeney booking their places in the finals of the 3 metre springboard. It means Australia has qualified numerous positions for Rio next year. We're excited to see how the team shapes up over the next year!
