
UK F-Team Update
We are very excited to announce our newest F-Teamers from the UK!
Welcome to Sophie Taylor, Aimee Willmott, Tain Bruce, Darcy Deakin and Charlotte Atkinson to join our Funkita girls including Molly Renshaw.
Sophie Taylor exploded onto the scene winning Commonwealth Games Gold in Glasgow for the 100 breaststroke. This year, Sophie won gold at the British Nationals in the 100m breaststroke booking her spot on the British team to Russia for the World Championships. She's back training hard with her sights set beyond Russia to Rio in 2016.

Aimee Willmott is the current British Champion in both the 200 Fly and 400 IM, and also has Commonwealth silver and bronze medals to go with a European silver medal. Aimee holds the UK 400 IM record and is ranked 5th in the world, and won silver in the 400 IM and bronze in the 200 fly at the British Nationals. Aimee will join Sophie on the British squad for the World Championships.

Tain Bruce is a young Scottish swimmer who has had a fantastic recent performance at the Scottish Age Nationals where she won the 200m fly, 200m IM, 100m fly and 50m free. She's definitely a swimmer on the rise and is back training hard at Carnegie Swimming Club.
Darcy Deakin swims for City of Sheffield, and has had a strong British Age Nationals where she claimed a silver medal in the girls 50m and 100m free and bronze medal in the girls 200m free and has been selected to represent the UK at the 2015 Euro games to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan from June 12-28.
Charlotte Atkinson is a Commonwealth Games semi finalist and has won gold in the 4x100m medley relay and bronze in both the 200m and 100m fly at the British Gas International. She has also won gold and bronze for the 100m and 50m fly at the Youth Olympic Games. Charlotte swims with Plymouth Leander.
We are very excited to such talented swimmers join our UK- based F-Team which includes champion swimmer Molly Renshaw. Molly had a great British Nationals with gold in the 200m breast, and bronze in the 200m IM and 100m breast to secure her spot on the British team for World Championships in Russia this July.
